Trip to Bethel

Last week Grant and I took a trip to Redding, California for a conference at Bethel Church. A year ago in January we took a small group out there to a healing school conference and it was life changing for us!  We can look back and see significant transformation and an ability to see much more fruit for Jesus from the impartation we received out there. I was not sure if or when we would ever head out that way again but this past January the Lord put it on our hearts to head to California again and see what God has for us.  So Grant, Callie, and I headed on a plane last week. Eli stayed in Norman with a friend of ours and had a great time playing with her dog!

Sweet Callie had to wake up at 4am and was pretty tired all day. She slept the whole plane ride and I think she really liked traveling this way!

Redding was absolutely beautiful!  We flew into Sacramento and drove about 2.5 hours to get there.  Lots of farm land and tree farms along the way which made for a beautiful backdrop.

This is a river that runs through Redding.  One afternoon we took a little walk, even though it was cold, and took in the sights.

This is a picture of the artists during worship.

One of the things I love about this church is that worship is about people bringing their gifts to the Lord and using them to express their love for God.  These women are unbelievably talented and they would paint during the worship.  Just one way people are using their giftings to bless God. I know that we will look back on this conference as another turning point in our lives.  I am already seeing more of God!  We were also able to listen to 2 teachings by Bob Jones who is a personal hero of mine.  He is 84 years old and an incredible man of God.  I feel that I am so blessed to have been able to hear him speak in person!
